Teaching

I have over 15 years of practical drumming experience, 2 years of professional drum teaching experience, and have studied both Rockschool and Trinity College London Grades as well as studying jazz drum kit at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I have also performed in venues such as BBC Philharmonic Studio, Aviva Studios, Band on the Wall and Matt n’ Phred’s, among others.

I am fully DBS certified and have worked with a wide variety of students, from 5-65 years old, total beginners, advanced students and also neurodivergent and disabled students.

I currently offer 1-1 private drum lessons at my professional drum studio, conveniently located just a 10 minute drive from Manchester City Centre and a 2 minute walk from Holt Town tram stop, at Pollard Yard studios. The studio is a purpose-built music practice space, with a full acoustic drum set, sound system, sheet music and music library all available for student’s use. Ear defenders and drum sticks can also be provided, but I encourage you to bring your own.

Whilst consistent, weekly or fortnightly lessons are best, I appreciate it is not always possible to fit this in. If you would like to request a lesson outside of the days and times listed above please simply fill out the contact form below and I will be happy to get back to you!

Ability:

• Minimum of grade 5 or similar drumming ability.

• Lessons are catered specifically for advanced and aspiring professional drummers.

• Duo, group or online lessons are not available.

Prices:

• 30mins -£25

• 45mins -£35

• 60mins - £45

• Payment by cash or bank transfer.

• No minimum term or contract.

• Lessons chargeable within a 24-hour cancellation period.
