Feeling very grateful at the moment to be involved in so many interesting musical projects and thought it would be nice to share some of what I’ve been up to the past few months! 1. Testing out some mics at my new(ish) studio @pollard_yard 🎧🥁🎤 2. Playing in the pit for a production of Made In Dagenham @thenewgarretttheatre. Thanks to @amydrums_perc for the shout! 🎭 3. Sitting in to watch master @shaneyforbes on @boyharnessedwindmusical in London. Thanks Shane! 🙏 4. First gig on percussion with @thiara.collective at @greenisland_festival 🪘🪇 featuring a solo by the very talented @mariassanderson 🎺 5. Album launch with @legsonwheelsband at @thecastlemanc 🧙‍♂️ 6. Dual drum duties with friend and maestro @b_owd with @thiara.collective at @manchesterjazzfestival. Pocket so deep he should be sponsored by Dickies 🤝👖 7. Recorded on the soundtrack for a short film by animator @alexcrumbie. Particularly excited for this to come out! 🎬💃🥬 8. Quite possibly the sweetest leaving present I’ve ever received off a student @jammstudios 🥹 #drums #manchester #livemusic

I went to the Alps

Bosh! And just like that I have a website…I’m going global baby! 😎🌐💫✨ Here you can find more information about my current gigs, projects and drum lessons should you so wish… ^Link in bio or https://www.jamieboylesmusic.co.uk Thought this would be a good time to also share some photos the wonderful @nicholewyke took for me a while back! 📸 #internet #theoffice #itcrowd #drumsnotguns

Triathlon No. 4 ✅ After 2 years off competitive sport and my fourth triathlon overall I decided to give it another go at Salford Sprint Triathlon! Really pleased with my result, placing 15th out of 152 overall and 3rd in my age-group (17-24)! Anyone close to me (or willing to listen :P) knows how important a role sport and exercise plays in my life and I feel so fortunate to have such great family/friends who came out to support (+ drive early on a Sunday morning thanks Ian!) Won’t be posting too much of this sorta stuff as want to keep my IG mostly drums-related but for any fitness/running nerds out there my race splits are on my Strava (link in bio⬆️)

A couple clips n pics from debut @thiara.collective gig at @bandonthewall a couple weeks back! 🥁 Thanks to @midnightmatterss / @brette.wolfe for supporting and to everyone who came down and made our first performance such a special night 🙏 Feeling blessed to be part of such a wonderful project led by main man @wacky.aki ~ keep your eyes (and oranges) peeled for future happenings 🍊🧡🔥👀 #drums #drumsolo #drumsontap #yeptheyredefinitelydrums #nolemonnolime #nosugarnospice #mannywasonceonamapnowitsbenign
